Our residents and fellows benefit from the camaraderie and atmosphere at our cozy, wholesome mountain retreat.
The program is a unique engine for writers, artists, philosophers, political theorists and builders to forge partnerships with rising talent, and foster cross-disciplinary interaction. We foster collaboration between those rooted in the legacy of historic American folk ways and builders at the forefront of technological innovation: an underexplored aesthetic and a necessary answer to the deep tension created by the challenges and advantages of the rapidly moving technological frontier.
